Review: Aria Hue G G-spot Vibrator

BNAriaHue1

The Aria Hue G is a fantastic toy at a fantastic price. Made by Blush Novelties this vibrator is waterproof, features 5 different vibration patterns, five different speeds, and is made of phthalate free silicone. And it is under $30! It isn’t rechargeable, but I wouldn’t expect it to be either at that price point. But the battery life off of two triple A batteries is pretty good so that honestly didn’t bother me much.

This particular toy comes in several colors including Cerise Pink, Plum Purple, Tangerine Orange & Lime Green (I opted for the green and it is super vibrant; I love it!) and I love that it comes in colors other than just pink or purple. Brightly colored, multi hued toys are one of my favorite things and the Aria line of toys by Blush Novelties nails it. To get into some specifics the toy itself is 6.29 inches long with 5 inches of that being insertable. It’s 1.39 inches around make this an easy to use toy especially if you like smaller toys or are perhaps intimidated by larger sex toys.

BNAriaHue2

Also the Aria Hue G is QUIET. Like I can hold it in my hand on the highest setting and it isn’t making any detectable noise that I can hear kind of quiet. Great for anyone who needs or wants a little privacy when it comes to their toys. This is a big deal for me since I live in an apartment and some toys are just too loud to use when the neighbors are home.

Now in my case I normally like much stronger vibrations than a battery operated toy could typically provide, but in this case the toy just seemed to hit a sweet spot. It was a tease to my clit getting me oh so close to an orgasm, yet not quite there, but inserting it into my vagina and fucking myself with it was a whole different ball game. I could feel the vibrations in all those delicious nerve ends and the bulbous head hit my g-spot just right. Orgasm city you guys, seriously. It was also great to position it it against my g-spot and let it rumble away until I came again. This toy packs more of a punch than I expected it to, both because of its low price and being battery operated. Just goes to show that I shouldn’t prematurely judge a sex toy based on looks alone. One thing I didn’t like about the toy is just how flexible it is. It made using it a challenge at first until I was able to adapt to how it moved inside of me as I thrusted, especially if I was moving quickly. But I can see how some people might find this an advantage as they can get a little more leverage to press against their g-spot.

BNAriaHueHead

All in all this toy is worth the investment if you’re just dipping your toes into the sex toy pond. I also think it would be good for someone who has never used a sex toy before because it is rather unassuming and while the shape and size certainly give it away for what it is, it is easy enough to store out of sight because it isn’t a large toy. If you’d like to purchase the Aria Hue G G-spot Vibrator, check it out on peepshowtoys.com for $27.99 or look for it at your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: Tantus Cush O2

TantusCush1

I won my Tantus Cush O2 in a contest and am so lucky to have gotten it. It is part of Tantus’ Dual Density line that is made with a harder core and a softer outside, still using their 100% platinum grade silicone formulation. This Dual Density formula gives it a nice softness to it that makes for an excellent experience. That softness also left me squeezing the tip of it like a stress ball and giggling while I did it. The dildo itself is 7 inches long and 1.75 inches in diameter. It is also phthalate free, hypoallergenic, and easy to clean with several different options being available including boiling, bleaching, or tossing it in the dishwasher.

TantusCushFull
Out of the box

I’m usually very picky about dildos because they don’t always give me an orgasm like I’m hoping for, but this particular one has become a go to for my masturbation sessions when I’m not testing other toys. The silicone has a matte finish and some drag to it, but that is fixed with a dollop of water based lube and I’m good to go. Despite the Cush’s seemingly impressive size the tapered head allows for easy insertion and the two ridges on the shaft feel really, really good. They hit my the front wall of my vagina and my g-spot one after the other and just rock my world like no other dildo has been able to do. I would suggest this toy for anyone who likes a lot of g-spot stimulation and enjoys the fullness of a larger dildo that will fill you right up. For me it feels especially good when paired with a small clitoral vibrator.

TantusCushHead
Love those ridges!

The Cush O2 is also harness compatible so it has excellent potential for using it with a partner and the base is large enough that if you’re not using it with a harness it is easy to hold onto and thrust at the same time which again makes it really nice for partnered use. Also, because the surface is relatively firm this dildo doesn’t seem to need a lot of lube for me and if the base gets lube on it, it doesn’t slip from mine or my partner’s grasp at all. It is not suction cup or vibrator compatible, but neither of those were a problem for me.

All in all, I can’t find anything truly negative about this dildo, unless it is that it picks up dust, lint, cat hair, etc very, very easily, but that is a problem with a lot of silicone toys so I don’t seriously count that as a bad thing necessarily. It just needs a quick wash before using and then you’re all set. You can purchase the Cush O2 directly from Tantus for $84.06 or from your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: Fun Factory Fun Cups

FunFactoryBox

The Fun Cup is a new menstrual cup made by Fun Factory and it is a completely different design from any of the other menstrual cups I’ve seen on the market. It is also my first go round with a menstrual cup so this is a learning experience for me as well as you, my readers. If you’re squeamish about periods, you might want to skip this review. For the rest of you, read on to learn more about the Fun Factory Fun Cup.

The Fun Factory Fun Cup is made from 100% medical grade silicone which is body safe, non-porous, and hypoallergenic. It comes in two different sizes to accommodate a wide range of body shapes and sizes. The anti-microbial Tyvek storage bag is also a great touch and it comes in a simple solid color instead of trying to be overly feminine which is something that I quite appreciate. It is also an eco-friendly choice when compared to pads or tampons, saves you money in the long term, and lasts for several years before needing to be replaced.

FunFactoryBag
Tyvek Storage Bag

My first period with the Fun Cup was an experience for sure. I read and re-read the directions and then started trying to insert it. Thank goodness for a bit of water based lubricant and a lot of patience. Once I finally got the cup inserted into my vagina then I had to make sure it was sealed properly against my cervix to avoid any leaking. I had that part correct. So I went about my merry way and completely forgot about having the cup in because it was so comfortable I didn’t even notice it was there. Several hours later I broke the seal by sliding a finger up against the edge of the cup and felt it kind of ‘pop’ loose, then removed and emptied the cup before giving it a quick wash and going on to reinsert it. Again, because the process was unfamiliar to me it took a few tries and this turned out to be one of the times it didn’t seal right which I realized a couple hours later; happily no cute panties were ruined during this process. So I removed the Fun Cup and started over again. Finally I got it just so and it did seal. This process was repeated several times throughout my period sometimes to varying degrees of trial and error. For the record, I was using the smaller size Fun Cup that came in the Fun Cup Explore Kit. I initially tried the larger one and it just didn’t seem to fit quite right for my body.

FunFactoryPink

The Fun Cup is definitely a product with a learning curve, but not one that is so steep that it becomes frustrating. I think the better you know your body, the easier this will be for you to use. And, as suggested, a bit of water based lubricant definitely made insertion much easier, even after my period had gotten a little heavier. I will say that whenever I went out I wore a pad just in case, given that it was my first time using a menstrual cup and I was a little paranoid about making sure it was in properly and what would happen if it wasn’t. I didn’t have any problems with it while I was out and about and because you can wear Fun Cups for such long periods of time I didn’t have to worry about emptying it in a public restroom either. I think that is something that will wait until I become much better at proper insertion of the cup itself and don’t struggle with it quite so much.

I’m actually kind of looking forward to my next period (how weird is that? Most people I know hate their periods,) so I can try the Fun Cups again and work on improving how I use them and being more confident in wearing them. Overall, these are an excellent product and I would, and have, recommended them to friends to try as an alternative to pads or tampons. If you’re interested in getting a set for yourself check out https://us.funfactory.com where they retail for $39.99. Thanks to Fun Factory for providing the Fun Cups in exchange for an honest and impartial review.

Review: Tantus Goliath Super Soft

GoliathSSBox
New in box. So pretty!

Upon seeing my newest Tantus toy, the Goliath Super Soft (not to be mistaken for the original Goliath mind you), I was immediately intrigued by the gorgeous shade of copper. It was so different from the standard pink, purple, or black that I was in love with it immediately, even before I finished opening the package. Once I removed it and got to feel how delightfully soft and squishy the Super Soft silicone is I knew that this was going to be a fun toy.

GoliathSS1

As usual, Tantus did not disappointment. With an insertable length of about 7 inches and a diameter of 1 and ¾ quarters of an inch this isn’t exactly a small toy, but I didn’t feel like it was too big either, perhaps because of the softer silicone. To give you an example of just how soft the silicone used in making the Super Soft line of toys is, I can take my Goliath and bend it in half, compress it several millimeters, and wobble it back and forth like crazy and it just returns to its original, textured shape. And it definitely has some texture, from the pronounced ridge on the head to the thick veins running along the shaft it seems like texture could be the Goliath’s middle name.

GoliathSSTexture
So much texture…lovely.

In terms of performance, the Goliath Super Soft is amazing. Feeling that ridge pop as it slides into my vagina is fantastic and makes me want to feel it over and over again; then the texture of the veins kick in. Nice, slow strokes really let me feel the veins which is delightful. All of the texture makes for an absolutely lovely sensation and because the silicone is squishier it feels like I can take the toy deeper without having any trouble with it being too hard and causing it to bump uncomfortably inside of me.

To me though, this toy really shines when playing with a partner because they don’t have to be so concerned about going too hard or too fast because the silicone is so soft and squishy. I know my partner appreciated this. The only complaints that we’ve had so far is because of the squish in the base the Goliath Super Soft can be a little harder to hold on to as it just kind of wants to slip from your (water based) lubricant covered grasp and that it can get dirt and hair stuck to it if you don’t have a bag or store it in the box. I usually give my toys a quick wash or wipe down before using them so that’s not a deal breaker for me.

GoliathSSHead
The amazing head that gives you that nice “pop” feeling I mentioned earlier

Otherwise I felt like this was a great, fun dildo to use alone or with a partner and because of the softness and texture it really appeals to me in a way that some of my harder dildos don’t because of the differences in material. It is certainly a toy that I will keep reaching for (and keeping having orgasms with!) As with all of my experience with Tantus products this one is of incredibly high quality and is designed to last. If you’d like to pick up a Goliath Super Soft you can find it at the Tantus website for $89.99 or shop your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: Aneros Evi

AnerosPackaging

The Aneros Evi came shipped to me from IGNITE Pleasure Products via USPS Priority Mail with a packing slip that gave no indication of the contents (good for me since I have nosy neighbors) and arrived in a timely fashion taking only a few days to arrive. When I opened the package and pulled out the red and white box that the Evi comes in I was utterly delighted. This is a toy I’ve been wanting for a long time now and here it is. Opening the outer box led me to a plain white box that flipped open to reveal the Evi nestled into a white plastic casing. It did not come with a storage bag.

AnerosInnerPackage

Once I got past the packaging, the first thing I noticed when I picked up the Evi is just how smooth it is. They toy appears to have a seam running all the way around it, but it is so smooth as to be unnoticeable unless you are looking for it. This is a big plus to me as uneven or raised seams can be really uncomfortable once inserted into the vagina. I expected this would be nice and velvety soft with a bit of water based lubricant. I found out shortly thereafter that I was correct.

Aneros2Final

When I first inserted the Evi it felt very comfortable and didn’t pinch or pull at all. My next discovery is that it does make an excellent kegel exerciser and I had fun just spending some time laying and sitting in different positions to see how it felt. Sitting on my bed wasn’t the most comfortable. After a while I decided that lying on my belly was the feeling and squeezing and wiggling my hips felt the best. That wiggly motion along with the squeeze from my muscles and feeling the Evi bounce against my g-spot, eventually drove me to a small but satisfying orgasm and left me wanting to experiment more with the Evi.

Further experimentation told me that walking around with it in and feeling it shift is incredibly cool feeling and even if it didn’t lead to an orgasm (I actually didn’t walk quite that far) it would certain be a good way to get me hot and bothered enough for more. Actually just having it inside me and feeling that pressure is enough to make me want more. I think I’ll enjoy wearing it out and about. I also tried it sitting down at my desk, which was much more comfortable than sitting on the bed and the feeling of fullness was fantastic. I’d clench my muscles and it would shift, or I’d adjust in the chair it would shift. Rocking back and forth in the chair was also quite fun. It is excellent for just hanging out with it inside you, as long as you’re careful to use enough (water-based only) lubricant to avoid getting uncomfortable. I’ve found that a thicker lubricant works better for this. But if you really want the exercise benefits you have to remember to squeeze those PC muscles.

So I did decide to wear the Evi out and about for a couple of hours and it initially didn’t seem to do a whole lot for me. There were times I barely even noticed it. However, once we got home and my partner surprised me in bed I found out just what a difference it made. All that walking around had made me very, very sensitive and I have to say the orgasms were fantastic.

The arm that is supposed to hit the clitoris doesn’t really do much for me. I can feel it there, and it seems to help hold the toy in place but it just doesn’t bump against me very well. Maybe because my kegels aren’t strong enough and I need to keep working on it, or my labia get in the way, or it just isn’t quite right for my anatomy. Either way it goes, this isn’t some sort of crazy deal breaker for me, although I do wish I could feel more sensation from it.

AnerosLogo1

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using the Evi both as an exerciser and as a toy/teaser and I think if you’re looking to improve your sex life with stronger PC muscles this would be an excellent choice. With a little (OK, probably a lot) more work I may be able to have consistent orgasms with the Evi by itself which should be very nice. If you’re interested in purchasing an Aneros Evi you can do so at IGNITE Pleasure Products for $54.95 or from your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: MysteryVibe Crescendo

When I got past the shipping packaging (which was quite discreet and delivered quickly via USPS) and pulled a sleek black box out I was very intrigued. The way this toy is packaged feels very posh with a slip cover over the box itself that is labeled MysteryVibe. I removed that to find a simple black box with gold lettering on the front and opened it up; and there it was nestled among a snug fitting enclosure, the MysteryVibe Crescendo. Beneath the Crescendo is a nice little storage pouch that also holds the charger, but that box is so nice I may just store the toy in there when it isn’t in use.

My first thought about the Crescendo when I heard about it was curiosity. It had to be some kind of gimmick I decided, but that didn’t stop the sex geek in me from wanting to try it. So when Luvoqa offered me the chance to review it I eagerly agreed. The first thing I did with it, once it was out of the box was to see how many different shapes I could bend it into. The answer: quite a few. So then I started planning which ones might work best for my anatomy. A “C” shape that was intended to hit both my clitoris and my g-spot was a good idea, but getting the Crescendo to actually hit both spots with enough pressure proved challenging.

I tried playing with the Crescendo without the app to control it, but the buttons were awkwardly placed and not easy to reach or press because of their small size. Neither were the buttons very intuitive to use and I felt like I was just mashing at them helplessly, trying to find a pattern that would give me an orgasm. Once I downloaded the app it made the toy much easier to play with, but I felt that the vibration patterns were lacking as well as the vibrations too were weak to do anything more than tease me. I think with six different motors both the vibration patterns and the intensity of them could have been much stronger. The feeling was just enough to make me want more but not for me to have an orgasm.

At one point I accidentally locked the toy and struggled to get it to turn back on for me so that was a bit of a pain as well. Another complaint that I have regarding the Crescendo is that it is one of those silicone toys that just seems like it wants to “eat” all the lube and I kept having to stop and reapply it, which is something that I hate to do as it tends to kill the mood for me. And don’t even get me started on charging the Crescendo. The Qi wireless charging system itself isn’t a bad idea, but the way to get the Crescendo to charge involves lining up buttons just so and is very finicky. I was so unimpressed by that the toy almost didn’t get a second charge. It takes roughly an hour to charge the Crescendo for up to an hour of play.

MVCStraight
By and large, I wasn’t impressed with the MysteryVibe Crescendo and it didn’t work for me at all. If you’re really into the idea of multiple motors, an app to use the toy, and being able to bend it to suit your needs, you might really love this toy, provided you don’t like super rumbly vibrations and don’t mind the idea of possibly getting lube on your phone while you use the app (or water since the toy itself is waterproof; I can’t say the same for my phone so I didn’t try this one out.) And if you’re still curious and want to try the MysteryVibe Crescendo out for yourself you can purchase it at Luvoqa for $179.00 or check you favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation

This toy arrived incredibly quickly, especially given that it was shipped directly to me from the Satisfyer headquarters in Germany. The packing was a plain white box with a bill of lading that gave no information as to the contents or where the package was coming from in regards to the company itself. When I opened the box, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation was well packed and secure within the box.

Satisfyer2NGPackage

Upon removal the packing looks identical to the regular Satisfyer Pro 2 box with the exception of being labeled “Next Generation.” I would’ve liked to have seen something a little different just for the sake of variety and ease of telling the products apart at a glance. I broke the Hygienic Seal on the box and opened to reveal a toy that looks identical to the Satisfyer Pro 2. We’ll see if the claims that it is quieter, has better power, and if its differently designed head make a difference in my pleasure.

My first impression of the toy, when turning it on, is that it is definitely much quieter than the original Satisfyer Pro 2. This will be a good thing for anyone who wants some privacy or has shared housing. Put it under a blanket and close the door and it would be unnoticeable. When I got to playing around with it, I noted that it the light was much less bright than its predecessor and that the buttons to change the settings are slightly larger and easier to hit. The body of Pro 2 and the Pro 2 Next Generation are still identical in shape and size (I was hoping for a slightly longer handle), but the head on the Next Generation is significantly wider and overall larger than the one on the Pro 2. According to Satisfyer, out of a focus group of 250 women, 98.7% of them preferred the new larger head. According to my clit I have a hard time telling the difference. Another claim is that the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Gen has better power than the regular Pro 2. This claim is one that I can agree with and I was able to orgasm with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation as easily or more so than I was with the original Satisfyer Pro 2 And, as with the original Pro 2 this toy is also stated to be waterproof.

Left: Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation                               Right: Satisfyer Pro 2

Going back to the buttons on the two different models, the original Pro 2 didn’t let you adjust power levels up and down (it only went all the way up before going back down) whereas the Pro 2 Next Gen allows for going back and forth along the range of pulses. I know this is a fix that many people are likely to appreciate. I certainly did! My only initial complaint about the buttons was that they felt stiff and hard to push. Then I realized I was pushing too far from the center of the buttons and everything was fine again. I felt a little silly even.

Satisfyer2NGScript

If I had to choose between the two toys, I would pick the Pro 2 Next Generation, if for no other reason than that it is quieter and more powerful that the original Satisfyer Pro 2. Those two things alone sold me on the newer version of the toy right away. The less bright light and the size of the head are both incidental things, that to me, are useful and good, but not earth shattering whereas the better powered Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has a lot going for it! It is available from Peepshow Toys for $69.00 or you can shop at your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation was provided to me for free from the Satisfyer brand in exchange for a fair, unbiased, and honest review. There are affiliate links used in this post.
