Review: Aria Hue G G-spot Vibrator

BNAriaHue1

The Aria Hue G is a fantastic toy at a fantastic price. Made by Blush Novelties this vibrator is waterproof, features 5 different vibration patterns, five different speeds, and is made of phthalate free silicone. And it is under $30! It isn’t rechargeable, but I wouldn’t expect it to be either at that price point. But the battery life off of two triple A batteries is pretty good so that honestly didn’t bother me much.

This particular toy comes in several colors including Cerise Pink, Plum Purple, Tangerine Orange & Lime Green (I opted for the green and it is super vibrant; I love it!) and I love that it comes in colors other than just pink or purple. Brightly colored, multi hued toys are one of my favorite things and the Aria line of toys by Blush Novelties nails it. To get into some specifics the toy itself is 6.29 inches long with 5 inches of that being insertable. It’s 1.39 inches around make this an easy to use toy especially if you like smaller toys or are perhaps intimidated by larger sex toys.

Also the Aria Hue G is QUIET. Like I can hold it in my hand on the highest setting and it isn’t making any detectable noise that I can hear kind of quiet. Great for anyone who needs or wants a little privacy when it comes to their toys. This is a big deal for me since I live in an apartment and some toys are just too loud to use when the neighbors are home.

Now in my case I normally like much stronger vibrations than a battery operated toy could typically provide, but in this case the toy just seemed to hit a sweet spot. It was a tease to my clit getting me oh so close to an orgasm, yet not quite there, but inserting it into my vagina and fucking myself with it was a whole different ball game. I could feel the vibrations in all those delicious nerve ends and the bulbous head hit my g-spot just right. Orgasm city you guys, seriously. It was also great to position it it against my g-spot and let it rumble away until I came again. This toy packs more of a punch than I expected it to, both because of its low price and being battery operated. Just goes to show that I shouldn’t prematurely judge a sex toy based on looks alone. One thing I didn’t like about the toy is just how flexible it is. It made using it a challenge at first until I was able to adapt to how it moved inside of me as I thrusted, especially if I was moving quickly. But I can see how some people might find this an advantage as they can get a little more leverage to press against their g-spot.

All in all this toy is worth the investment if you’re just dipping your toes into the sex toy pond. I also think it would be good for someone who has never used a sex toy before because it is rather unassuming and while the shape and size certainly give it away for what it is, it is easy enough to store out of sight because it isn’t a large toy. Review: VeDO Gee Slim

The VeDO Gee Slim was shipped in a plain brown envelope with no detailed information as to what the package was or who it was from (Peepshow Toys by the way.) It also arrived very quickly. Upon opening the envelope a slender white box fell into my hands with a picture of the Gee Slim on the box. Opening it revealed the Gee Slim nestled into a black velvety nest and little else. The toy was also covered in little black flecks from the packaging so perhaps another packing option might be a better choice. However, upon removing the GeeSlim I found the charger cable and a booklet of products under the insert. There were no instructions with the toy and it wasn’t charged so I immediately hooked it up via a USB plugin. It took roughly one hour and forty-five minutes to charge and it ran for approximately an hour before it shut off, although the head of the toy did heat up somewhat after running for that long.
VedoGeeSlim1
The VeDO Gee Slim is a silky smooth silicone toy, so always be sure to use a water based lubricant with it to avoid any potential damage. It offers ten vibration modes, mostly patterns, and the vibrations are mostly buzzy as opposed to rumbly so if that’s what you like in terms of that type of vibrations this could be a good fit for you. It is also completely submersible so if you want to get you fun in the tub on, you can do just that. It offers a full hour of play time according to the VeDO website and it is a very quiet toy; probably quiet enough that through a closed door and under a blanket it wouldn’t be heard so if you’re looking for some privacy this is also a big bonus for the Gee Slim.

One of the biggest downsides to the functionality of this toy that I found was the button control. It has a single button on the top of the toy that lets you cycle through all the different vibrations, but I found it difficult to press down on with my thumb and it was sometimes hard to tell if I had depressed the button at all between some of the patterns as they seemed to feel very similar to me.

When I turned on the Gee Slim for the first time, just holding it in my hands I felt like the vibrations might be not quite as powerful as I like, but I was hoping for the toy to be a nice surprise. I cycled through the vibration modes and found the rumbliest of the bunch and figured that I would start there because my g-spot is a bit picky to say the least. A little lube and a moment later the toy slid inside me. It took me a moment to find the right angle and just the right spot with the bulbous head of the Gee Slim and once I did I tried rubbing it across, wiggling it back and forth, and moving it around into various positions and places to see what I could make happen. Nothing. So I moved on to some of the other settings, tried squeezing down on it (this only dampened the vibrations for me), and switched it up as much as I could. Sadly, I simply wasn’t going to get an orgasm out of this toy. Not through any fault of the toy, mind you, but simply because I prefer a rumblier, deeper vibration on my g-spot.

For what this toy is, I think it could be perfect as a first toy for someone who is new to the ever growing choice of toys out there. It is relatively inexpensive, gives some different vibration options, and isn’t intimidating in shape or size, coming in at just under 7 inches long and about 1 and ¼ inches around at the widest point of the bulb. In addition to g-spot stimulation the Gee Slim can also be used on the clitoris or vulva, giving it a bit of versatility. If you’re interested in purchasing one of these toys you can find them at Peepshowtoys.com for $39.00 or you can check your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: Svakom Billy

I’m always on the lookout for new toys to try and when I heard about Svakom I was interested in their toys, but wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Luckily I won my Svakom Billy in a contest (Thanks Emmeline Peaches!) and have been able to give him a try. The Billy is an averaged sized toy at approximately 1 and a quarter inches diameter, 7 inches long, and an approximate weight of 93 grams. Mine is a beautiful violet color that I absolutely adore; it also comes in plum red on the Svakom website. It is a solid, well made toy.

However, it didn’t work for me. I found it be adequate at best and really struggled to eke out an orgasm with it. The curve was too shallow to reach my g-spot without pressing the toy really hard and upward inside of me and even then I struggled to get enough pressure to find any pleasure from this toy internally. It just wasn’t gonna happen as I quickly found out. The curve and shape of the toy just do not work for me in the slightest and the buzzy, make my hand numb, vibrations also didn’t work for me. Also, the more pinpoint vibrations that this toy does very well aren’t really something that I’m into so that was another reason that it was a no go toy for me. Overall, this toy was a bit of a dud as far as I am concerned. It doesn’t suit my body size or shape wise and sadly isn’t what I need in a vibe. Even my ever helpful partner who seems to be able to work magic on toys couldn’t help me here. It’s not under powered or a bad toy. It just didn’t work for me The only orgasm I had with it was very weak and rather unsatisfying.

It does have its plus sides however, and my favorite of them is the very plush, almost velvety finish that the silicone has to it. At one point I was just playing with the toy in my hands because I found the texture to be so interesting; and it is a smooth toy so the idea of texture might seem a bit odd, but there’s no other word for it. It also comes with a nice, branded storage pouch and charges via an included USB cable. Mine came charged and because the toy has a polymer lithium battery, it holds a charge quite well even when not in use. The total charging time is about one hour and according to the Svakom website it will give you two hours of play time on a single charge. It is also waterproof which is nice if you’re a fan of shower-gasms and makes it easier to clean as well. The toy itself is also very quiet. When I tested it with my partner they indicated that they might be able to hear it if the house was completely silent. Otherwise, this one seems like you could close the bedroom door grab some lube (water based only folks!) and have some fun with no one knowing a thing about what you’re up to.

Overall, while the Billy didn’t work well for me, it is a well constructed toy that has some solid features that make it a nice toy and if you’re looking for a high quality vibrator with a slight curve to it this certainly might be an option to consider. You can purchase it directly from the Svakom website or at your favorite body safe sex toy retailer.

Review: NMC Toys Red Vibrator

I bought this toy off a random site on the Internet some time ago now (before I knew about reputable websites like SheVibe) and only used it enough to decide that I definitely did not like it. It is tiny coming in at about 3 inches insertable and 5 inches total and even though it has a nice curved tip that could be used to stimulate one’s g-spot, the toy didn’t even come close to reaching mine.

So I tried it as a clitoral vibrator and that was just a distraction to anything else I or my partner were doing. The vibrations are very buzzy and buzzy just does nothing for me. It quickly became relegated to the never use again pile, until I decided to post a review here. Nothing has changed from my first assessment of awful and buzzy and generally useless for the way I am built and what I prefer, which happens to be much rumblier vibrations than this toy could ever be.

I’d never seen anything as to whether or not this was a silicone toy so I opted to do a flame test on the toy, but because there was no way for me to verify what the company had to say about the matter and my knowledge is limited, I cannot be conclusive in my findings as to what exactly the toy is made from. To the best of my understanding it did react as thought it were silicone, but without shelling out money for an expensive lab report I can’t be sure and therefore deem my findings as pure speculation. If you want to learn more about flame testing check out Dangerous Lilly’s blog. I will say when I used it there were no adverse effects from it, other than the fact that I simply did not care for it as a toy.

I also won’t be searching out or purchasing anything from this brand again simply because I don’t like the toy and because I’m unsure on the quality of the materials. If you’re looking for a good g-spot or clitoral vibe you could take a look at the B Swish Bcute Classic Curve which is similar in size to this particular toy lengthwise (so it may be too short, find your G-spot!) or the Aria Hue by Blush Novelties. It is a bit longer and might be more suited for some people. So there are a couple of G-spot vibrators you might like. If you’re more interested in clitoral stimulation either of the vibrators above might be right up your alley with that rounded tip for a a pinpoint stimulation or you might prefer a more classically shaped vibrator like the We-Vibe Tango. At any rate, if there is one thing I learned about buying my sex toys, it is that I should buy them from reputable shops and companies so I know what my toys are made of and not buy something simply because of the price. I hope you enjoyed this review and will come back for more reviews, erotic stories, and other sex and relationship related topics!

Review: HUM Vibrator

I was super excited when I saw that Ruby at missrubyreivews.com was giving away a HUM vibrator. Happily for me I was the lucky winner and now I’m here to bring you a review of the most interesting vibrator I’ve come across to date.

Designed by a team of physicists in California the HUM is a smart vibrator, artificial intelligence inspired, in that it responds to what you do and how you move. There are two motors in the HUM and they work independently of one another to create sensations that are unique to you. It all just depends on how you move or use the toy. It responds to all kinds of various motions, including squeezing, rocking, and rotating just to name a few.

My first experience with the HUM was receiving a plain white box in the mail with no indication of what might be inside. I opened the box to find very simplistic packaging and bright blue vibrator wrapped in a black satin sack that was all wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap. It was definitely secure in its packaging. I unpacked everything and immediately set the charging pad up so I could charge the vibrator. It charges via induction from the charging pad which makes the HUM waterproof if you’re so inclined to take it into the bath or shower.

Fresh out of the box

As soon as it was fully charged, which took about an hour and a half, I immediately picked it up, turned it on (hold the HUM button down for two seconds), and started squeezing it in my hands and feeling the various vibrations and intensity levels. I was having so much fun just playing with it in my hands that I knew getting into my vagina, and soon, was a must! My partner likes to experience new toys with me so later that day we busted it out and while I didn’t find the vibrations to be overly rumbly, I also wouldn’t call them buzzy in the least.Clenching around the toy was great for G-spot stimulation I found and even just thrusting it in and out while my body twitched around it made for some amazing sensations. It was a very different feeling from anything I had ever felt from a vibrator and I loved it.  It took some time because I was still learning the shape and feeling of the toy, but the orgasm I had from it just about curled my toes. My partner also enjoyed the fact that with the changes in vibration from the toy he could feel my orgasms.

Since then I’ve played with it solo to much the same results, only this time I added some Sliquid Sassy into the mix for a nice smooth experience. It did make the base of the toy a little harder to hold on to but something like that is to be expected when you start getting lube everywhere. This time I was able to really get a feel for the toy and squeezing it hard with my kegel muscles produced a heavy, deep vibration that felt amazingly intense. If you have weak kegels this may be a more difficult toy for you to use, but with practice you’d likely get stronger and therefore get better results from the toy.

Additionally the HUM has a couple different ways it can be used. If you have the buttons facing up it will pick up on rhythmic pattern and repeat them whereas if you have the buttons facing downward it creates simpler patterns, although it still responds to your body. I had a lot of fun trying these out and just playing with the toy in every way I could imagine to see how it felt and what worked best for me. This toy also pairs amazingly well with oral sex due to its somewhat slim profile and maneuverability so if that’s your thing then go for it!

hum2
Profile and length to scale with a dollar bill

HUM held a charge quite nicely just hanging out in my toy box for probably a week or so between uses and was still going strong when I used it again. It also has a feature where if it is at full power, turning it on results in three pulses of a green light and when it is nearing the need for a recharge you get a single solid red light and pulse for a moment. As I mentioned charging is super easy with a charging pad that comes with a basic USB to mini USB cable like you might use to charge your phone. No more digging around for a proprietary cable for this toy, which I think is a great option.

The biggest drawback that I can see to the toy is price. The color I chose (Blue Glow that really does glow in the dark, but sadly my camera wouldn’t pick up the gorgeous phosphorescence) retails for $229.00 on meethum.com although they have other colors that are less expensive at $199.00. Is this vibrator worth that much money? For something so responsive that reacts to your body the way this toy does, I think I would’ve considered buying one for myself just for the sheer curiosity and novelty of the product. Now having tried it, I do think it is a toy well worth the money spent on it. The artificial intelligence angle is unique and there is no other toy like it on the market that I am aware of at current. If you want something unique and unusual to play with I would highly recommend the HUM.
